I gave the wrong name when using the /. Not really sure if the '&' sign will be any better.

Full name of the two beaches are: Ao Thong Nai Pan Yai and Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi. Together they form a destination/district on the island. Who knows best how to solve this? {(WT-en) 3wisemen}

Actually, now I'm realizing that the places are only beaches not towns, and Wititravel doesn't create articles for lakes, beaches etc. Therefore the articles should be listed under the name of the nearest village or town. Any ideas? (WT-en) WindHorse 07:31, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
OK. I've checked maps of the area, and it seems that the swathe of buildings that surround the beaches are named after the beaches themselves, and so we can use those names for the articles. Also as the beaches are separated by a headland, they can be designated as separate articles. The problem with using a slash in the title is that no one will type in XXXX/XXXX in the search box. Hope this solution is ok with you, 3wisemen. (WT-en) WindHorse 07:42, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
Why not merge the two as "Ao Thong Nai Pan"? That's what the map calls it. (WT-en) Jpatokal 08:26, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, if 'Ao Thong Nai Pan' is really the actual name for the whole area, then that would be the best solution. However, on the maps and web sites I checked, the beaches were listed under their individual names, and I didn't see a single title used to cover both. I guess we need someone with first hand knowledge of the area. (WT-en) WindHorse 08:36, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

Moved from 3wisemen Talk Page in reference to Jpatokal's suggestion:

WindHorse, it does make sense, since it is considered one area. I can explain in the article about the specifics of getting to the two beaches etc, it's actually easier. So it's fine with me {3wisemen 09:01, 24 March 2007 (EDT)}
OK. Let's do that. If you give me thirty minutes, I'll set it up. WindHorse 09:17, 24 March 2007 (EDT) (WT-en) WindHorse 09:21, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
Thanx, WindHorse!Guess I'll have to fill this darn page with some quality info now ;-) {(WT-en) 3wisemen 09:21, 24 March 2007 (EDT)}
No problem. Actually, merging the two articles under 'Ao Thong Nai Pan' was Jpatokal's brain wave. (WT-en) WindHorse 10:08, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
I've now moved it to "Thong Nai Pan", which is the most common form by far on the web. "Ao Thong Nai Pan" doesn't make much sense, since that would be "Thong Nai Pan Beach", which doesn't exist -- it's one place (Thong Nai Pan) which has two beaches (Ao TNP Noi/Yai).
