Talk:Vancouver, Coast & Mountains

I tagged this for style edits. Stuff like "the mossy rainforest drops from a sculpted shoreline into the Strait of Georgia", apart from appearing to be a copyright violation from [1], strikes me as obnoxiously flowery language. Also, is this the right article name? I'd call the area the "Lower mainland" of BC. Policy is to use the commonest English name and I wonder if either "Vancouver, Coast & Mountains" or the sub-region names are that. (WT-en) Pashley 19:29, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

Merge into Lower Mainland[edit]

We have a "Lower Mainland" article with the same four regions, except With sane names like "Fraser Valley" instead of "Mighty Fraser Country". Anything worthwhile here (not much, IMHO) should be moved there and this made into a redirect or deleted altogether. (WT-en) Pashley 01:23, 26 April 2008 (EDT)

I agree that Lower Mainland appears to be the region article that covers what this article also covers. Maybe this article is a relic of some older regional structure for British Columbia. Note that part of the cleanup should be to delete the mention of this region in British Columbia#Regions. (WT-en) JimDeLaHunt 01:04, 27 April 2008 (EDT)
Text moved and this turned into a redirect, but now Lower Mainland needs editing. (WT-en) Pashley 03:36, 27 April 2008 (EDT)
