There is a nightclub at marine drive and hudson (under the bridges). Last I checked it was called the Wild Coyote, but names tend to change.

41st in Kerrisdale has quite a few restaurants, but other than that your call of there not being many is pretty good. --66.119.176.23

Is it really appropriate to group all these disparate neighbourhoods under one banner of Vancouver South? Shaughnessy is quite distinct from Killarney, for example. Or Marpole vs Oakridge. This just seems kind of lazy, like whoever was making this guide didn't want to make pages for all the different neighbourhoods in the southern half of the city. 142.103.207.10 00:39, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree the neighbourhoods are different, but we don't necessarily make a guide for every neighbourhood. We want our guides to be useful, so a neighbourhood (district) guide is only created if there's enough content (we don't want readers to wade through a bunch of pages with only a handful of listings). An example of this would be the West End. If there isn't enough content for one neighbourhood, it gets combined with other nearby neighbourhoods (like the Gastown & Chinatown guide). In the case of the southern half of Vancouver, we don't have very much content at all, so for now, it's all grouped together in one guide. If Vancouver South gets enough listings and info at some point, it'll be split then. The guidelines for when to make district articles are covered in the geographic hierarchy article.
