Alternative banner[edit]
The existing banner is a cropped image from a photo which is a part of the article. I don't think it is good to have it double, and it looks much better in the original composition. I was looking for an altrenative for the banner. It is difficult to find another quality pictures of this palce, but what about using this illustration, which is cropped from a Russian letter stamp? It's not ideal, but it looks interesting. Another option would be to photoshop the cut outs :) Ideas? Ypsilon? --Danapit (talk) 16:51, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm partial as the creator of the current banner, but I prefer the old one and the perforation line of the stamp banner looks a little weird to me. Alternatively we could just change the lead pic? ϒpsilon (talk) 17:07, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- And what about this satellite pic? I think we should rather leave the tundra photo in the original composition. It looks better that then the cropped version. Danapit (talk) 18:29, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
