Hey Jpatokal, as with temples in general, should they not be listed under the nearest town, rather than as a destination within themselves? However, from my memory of Yamadera, the temple complex is certainly the main attraction. If it is decided that the temple complex is to be designated destination status and the town merely a backdrop, then the introduction on the Yamadera article should probably be changed accordingly. I'll leave the decision to change or not to you. (WT-en) WindHorse 31 Jan 06
- Well, Yamadera is a town in the sense that it's not within Yamagata city limits and it's possible to stay there if you'd like. So I think this qualifies as a destination, although I think it's certainly more of an "Other destination" than a "City" as far as classification goes. (WT-en) Jpatokal 09:57, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)
