Usefulness[edit]
It would be nice if this guide could explain a bit more clearly when having a Yiddish phrasebook would be helpful. Without being knowledgeable myself, is there really a time when it would be more helpful than a phrasebook in the more widespread local language (e.g., Hebrew in Israel, English in New York, etc.). Obviously, knowing the language is useful for communicating with other Yiddish speakers in general, but the travel relevance geographically isn't so clear to me. --Peter Talk 18:18, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
