Understand

[edit]

This is a very small village with only about 300 people (2010). The town is really too small to meet the requirements for Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos, though it does have that designation.

Due to the small population and lack of traveler amenities (places to eat and sleep), the town may be best visited as a day trip from Guadalajara. You can hire a taxi or an Uber driver for an entire day at quite reasonable rates.
