This template may be placed at the top of the article for a historic event, indicating that the event is completed but the article is being retained for historic reference or for use as a template for future events.
You may simply call the template, or may pass one or two parameters. First parameter: the year the event concluded. Second parameter: additional information concerning future or subsequent events.
