[edit]Use on pages to give a warning that the page is no longer relevant or consensus for its purpose has become unclear. If you use just {{historical}} by itself (without any parameters), the template produces the following result:

This page is no longer active and is retained for historical reference. Either the page is no longer relevant or consensus on its purpose has become unclear. Do not assume content on this page is still correct or up-to-date. |
Parameters
[edit]This template has one (optional) parameter. If applicable, use it to specify the current page that supersedes the page on which this template has been placed, eg:
{{historical|Wikivoyage:Routebox navigation}} will produce:
