[view] [edit] [history] [purge] Template documentation

This template is used to define which region a destination is in, to define the breadcrumb at the top of an article page. It will also, if exists, add the article to a category of the same name.

Note that this is only for destination guides. If you use it on other pages, you'll get breadcrumb menus all right, but you'll mess up other software. Please, don't do that. Instead use {{PartOfTopic}} for travel topic articles and {{PartOfItinerary}} for itinerary articles.

It is not needed for breadcrumb navigation on district subpages, but it should be used anyway.

If no category exists for the parameter a small Create category link will be placed at the bottom of the article to assist in creation.

To use it, add {{isPartOf|name of other place}} to the bottom of a destination guide. The name of the other place does not have be in URL-encoded format – spaces are OK.

See Project:Breadcrumb navigation for more information.

Generation of breadcrumbs for destination article, by noting at the top of the article that the article is a subset of another article.
