This is a file copyright tag. This template adds files to Category:PD-author files.

Usage

{{PD-author|<!-- optional: author name -->}}

Parameters

The template takes the author's name as an optional parameter. If added, the author's name will be displayed on the license, replacing the text "the copyright holder".
