Template:Schengen-not-implemented

From Wikivoyage

This country is committed to implementing the Schengen Agreement although it hasn't yet done so. For citizens of the European Union (EU) and Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland), an officially approved ID card (or a passport) is sufficient for entry. Other nationalities will generally need a passport.

Travel to or from any other country (Schengen or not) from or to this country will result in the normal immigration checks, although customs checks will be waived when travelling to or from another EU country.

Inquire with your travel agent or with the local embassy or consulate of this country.

Usage

[edit]

The template is usually added as the first paragraph of the Get in section (or a relevant subsection) of articles on countries that are not yet part of the Schengen Area, but are committed to certain related regulations.

If the page name isn't suitable for using as country name in the start of the template text, you may use the "name" parameter:
{{Schengen|Somecountry}} – which causes the country described on the page "Somecountry (country)" to be called "Somecountry" instead of "Somecountry (country)".
