Remove experimental tag?[edit]

Would it be uncontroversial to remove the experimental tag from this one now? This template is already in use on a number of talk pages, Expedition pages and other pages in the Wikivoyage namespace. Texugo (talk) 13:56, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See Template:Done. --Saqib (talk) 14:04, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't really answer my question though. Template:Done passed through a VfD discussion and was kept. Template:Not done was deleted as a result of the same conversation. I'm not sure if those things have any bearing on this though.
Personally, I think that, given the fact that no check mark is easily type-able anyway, this is pretty useful for expedition progress charts and the like, and would like to see the experimental tag removed. Texugo (talk) 14:33, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ops. I thought it same as Done template. I didn't noticed the differences. Sorry! --Saqib (talk) 14:55, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Apart from the fact it's larger and doesn't contain the word "done" I can't really see an important difference. However, it does no harm and, especially for readers whose English is poor, has an obvious use. Remove the experimental tag. This whole idea of "template clutter" is problematical in a project like this where server space becomes cheaper every year and the maintenance cost of this kind of template is pretty well zero. --118.93nzp (talk) 01:35, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Any last comments before removing the experimental tag? Texugo (talk) 15:18, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
