Thonglang Bay (also Ao Thonglang) is a small, quiet bay on the northwest side of Ko Pha Ngan. For those looking to escape the crowds and bask in nature. There are no shops here and only a handful of buildings along the entire bay.

Get in

[edit]

You will have to either take a taxi or have your own transportation to get here. It is on the absolute opposite side of the island to the harbour where you arrive.

Get around

[edit]

Thonglang is a small bay which can be easily walked. There is one street in and out. The best way to explore Thonglang is to hire a scooter, although care should be taken on Ko Pha Ngan's notoriously dangerous roads. An old Suzuki 4x4 can be rented for the same daily rate as 2 scooters, so it is a better option for a couple.
