Tindivanam is a town at the north coast of Tamil Nadu. Tindivanam is a main hub connecting Chennai to southern part of Tamil Nadu. It also connects Kanchipuram to southern Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry with Bangalore. NH 45 connects Chennai to Trichy via Tindivanam and NH 66 connects Pondicherry to Krishnagiri via Tindivanam.

You can reach Tindivanam from Chennai through bus or train. The closest airport is Pondicherry Domestic Airport (40 km) and Anna International Airport in Chennai (130 km). Approximately every two minutes, there is a bus to Tindivanam from Chennai, with travel time of about two hours. You can get buses for almost all the places of the Tamil Nadu from Tindivanam, because every bus departed from Chennai CMBT will be having a short time haul in Tindivanam Bus stand.

RajanKulam one the oldest manmade pond constructed by the Great King Nalliyakodan who ruled this area in seventeenth century.

Sivan kovil and Perumal kovil are the oldest temples from the period of the Great King Raja Raja Chola.
