You could walk around the town on foot. Tralee itself has limited points of interest for a tourist but it is set among some of the most beautiful places in Ireland.

- 1 Kerry County Museum (Denny St, town centre), ☏ +353 66 712-7777. 09:30-17:30 daily (Jun-Aug, varies in off-season). Engaging "Medieval Experience" exhibit winds through a lifelike reconstruction of a 15th c. town. Also has a small exhibit on Antarctic explorer Tom Crean, and others. €5.
- St. John's Church of Ireland, Ashe St (by town park).
- The Town Park. Especially when the roses are in bloom. Interesting and labelled trees and a clean play area for small children. Closed at night - at irregular hours.

- Court House, Ashe St.
- Ashe Memorial Hall and Museum (near town park on Denny St).
