Get in
[edit]From Manado, take a bus to Ratahan from Karombasan bus terminal in Manado, Rp 35,000 (or to Langoan with change in Langoan Terminal/Church to Ratahan, Rp 25,000+12,000). As usual, expect old minibus leaving only when full (completely full). Then take an ojek or a bentor from the “pertigaan” (t-crossing, next to Kifran restaurant) before Ratahan, Rp 30,000-50,000.
A taxi from Manado would be around Rp 500,000-600,000 for about 2-3h trip.
The last part of the road from Tantengesan Satu is smaller, passing through rice fields and easily flooded. If in motorbike, you possibly can get feet wet.

Owned by Yoann, a French marine biologist installed there for more than 10 years and married to an Indonesian. Guests left on themselves at night as Yoann and staff sleep at the village. Free fins. No wifi, Telkomsel 4G coverage. Tumbak address is 1 gateway house/boat to the island cottage. If want beer, fruits, or snacks between meals, need to bring it.
