Hello, HJ.Phillips94! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.
Sorry for the lateness of a proper welcome! Thanks for the work on Surselva. I note you left a couple of questions on the talk page that never got answered. I've provided some feedback on my own thoughts on the tagging you mention, so please respond there and am sure we can push forward with the article :) (WT-en) Nrms 04:49, 9 January 2009 (EST)
I notice the long list of towns in the Surselva article and wonder if you could subdivide Surselva into smaller regions, then you wouldn't need to list all the towns in one article. I have also separated the town names into their Romantish and German alternatives, as these names are easier to deal with rather than a single Romantish/German, or is it German/Romantish, name. - (WT-en) Huttite 07:47, 25 February 2009 (EST)
I think that a redirect should be put in for the romantsch names i.e for Ilanz the page is called Ilanz and it could be redirected from Glion.(WT-en) HJ.Phillips94 13:06, 25 February 2009 (EST)p.s the german name is generally first. (German:Ilanz, Romantsch:Glion)
- The Wikivoyage convention is to use the name that a place is most commonly known by in English. If that is normally the German name then what you propose is fine. However, if for some odd reason the Romantish was more common in English then the redirect should be from the German name to the Romantishly named article. It probably doesn't matter too much which name is used for the article title provided there are redirects in place and both names are mentioned at the beginning of the article. - (WT-en) Huttite 02:05, 28 February 2009 (EST)
I shall set to work then on the task, a new page for everywhere in the Surselva(WT-en) HJ.Phillips94 13:53, 3 March 2009 (EST)
Sondrio and its subregions
[edit]We don't normally write articles like Sub-Regions Of Sondrio. Please discuss at Talk:Sondrio (Province). It would be a good idea to sort out some sub regions to list in the article. Even North, South, East, West and Central Sondrio would be a start. Alternatively, don't list any regions until you have enough destinations to make one worthwhile. - (WT-en) Huttite 07:39, 18 March 2009 (EDT)
French User Page
[edit]I also have a user page on the french wikivoyage, yet I do not know how to link it with the English.--(WT-en) HJ.Phillips94 12:18, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
- You can add an interwiki link by adding [[fr:User:(WT-fr) HJ.Phillips94]] to the bottom of the page. (Or replace that with whichever username you have chosen on the French version.) --(WT-en) Peter Talk 16:06, 27 March 2009 (EDT) fr:Discussion utilisateur:(WV-fr) HJ.Phillips94
Grisons map
[edit]I have uploaded a map
