Hi, this is Shoestring from Tokyo Japan. I took my user name "Shoestring" from my former traveling style— "on a shoestring". Why former? Umm...you know, my way of traveling have gradually changed from budget to middle class (I hope...) , along with the improvement of income (I hope, too...) ^__^.

But I am still loving cheap eating places (such as food court), and enjoying local foods, especially when I am in Southeast Asia. So far I have traveled around 50 countries and areas in the world.

Mostly I am working at the Japanese edition, and occasionally come to the English edition when I get some brief but (seems to be very) useful information (mostly Japanese related) to put in.
