Wiki Loves Fanush
I am one of the co-ordinators of the event Wiki Loves Fanush which will document the handmade paper fanush (sky-lanterns) of Bholanath Dham, Kolkata.
Wiki_Exploration_Program
Wiki Exploration Program is an initiative taken by West Bengal Wikimedians User Group to document archaeological and heritage sites in different parts of the state of West Bengal, India, even in the remote areas in a cost-effective way in different phases. At Present the exploration program has extended to states other than West Bengal. So far 30 phases of these exploration projects have taken place.
I have actively participated in 28 of these 30 phases and have played the lead role in 27 of them.
Wikipedia Takes Kolkata
[Wikipedia Takes Kolkata]is a planned photo scavenger hunt in the spirit of Wikipedia Takes the City to be held in Kolkata. This event is aimed at increasing the coverage of free photographs involving the City of Kolkata so that they can be used in Wikipedia articles which need pictures, as well as promoting awareness of Wikipedia.
I have actively participated in four of these scavenger hunts and led the team in two of them.
