My name is Annette, but I go by my website name, eduscapes. I’ve been a Wikipedia user since the beginning and even did some early editing. However it wasn’t until I became involved in a local history group that I became interested in editing and authoring Wikipedia articles such as one on Almon Harris Thompson . I enjoy traveling in the United States and around the world, so I thought this would be a great way for me to share my skills and resources.

Interests

[edit]

My husband and I were full-time RVers for 10 years, so we've visited many of the travel destinations in North American and have a lot of content and photos to share. A few years ago we established new roots in the beautiful tourist destination of the Canyon Country of southern Utah, so I thought I'd focus on this area to get started. I've posted a starter page for Torrey, Utah. As I have time, I'll add other pages and more content.

Personal life

[edit]

I’ve been a teacher, school librarian, technology coordinator, and college professor. I’m currently a library science professor focusing on the past, present, and future of libraries. I teach courses in the area of children and young adult resources and technologies, information inquiry and instruction, and library history.
