L. Peat O’Neil, FRGS, is the author of Travel Writing: See the World, Sell the Story and Pyrénées Pilgrimage - Walking Across France. For nearly two decades, O’Neil was a staff writer in the newsroom of The Washington Post and has been published in numerous periodicals, websites and newspapers including National Geographic News and Gastronomica. O'Neil taught travel writing online for the UCLA-Extension journalism program for ten years.
L. Peat O’Neil’s short fiction, reviews and essays have appeared in Potomac Review, Pearl, Pleiades, Bloomsbury Review, Canadian Theatre Review and other small literary publications. Several of her travel articles and poems have been published in anthologies.
