Hi Aditya! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Great work on Bandarban! But please have a look at the Manual of style and Article templates below to understand why the headers were changed.

Here are some links you may find useful:

Chittagong

[edit]

Hi there Aditya!

I reverted your additions to the Chittagong page... you moved it in from Wikipedia, but their license is not compatible with ours... they use GFDL, and we use Creative Commons. More strangely though you removed the info from the WP page and cited it as advertising... so I'm also a little confused. Let me know if there's an explanation for all of this and maybe we can add some info back in. Thanks! (WT-en) cacahuate talk 03:44, 7 September 2007 (EDT)

Where did all of that info come from in the first place? Is it your own writing? I removed it until you clarified its origin, but if you wrote it in the first place then there's no problem. I thought that it was copy and pasted from Wikipedia, which we can't do since we have different licenses. (WT-en) cacahuate talk 17:03, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

Bandarban

[edit]

Hi there!

We don't really have a peer review set up over here, the closest thing we have really at the moment is the collaboration of the week, you're welcome to add it to the list on that page so that it will get featured in the future... Once an article is fully complete, matches the manual of style exactly and has a nice Wikivoyage style map, then it can be nominated for star status where people will review it and help get the last few kinks out and vote whether they think it should be a star article or not. However Bandarban still has a way to go before that, needs a map to start with.

To redirect pages, replace the page with this: #REDIRECT [[name of town]]

when you're editing a page, you'll notice an "edit tools" box below the "save page" button, with some quick links to things you might need, the redirect is one thing in there, so you don't have to remember the above markup. Hope that helps! HOWEVER... Bandarban Town shouldn't be redirected to Bandarban, they both deserve their own articles... the town article needs to be expanded and hotels, restaurants, etc added... though that may take some time  :) (WT-en) cacahuate talk 18:38, 2 January 2008 (EST)
