Hi Troy!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. I would recommend to start with our Tips for new contributors if you feel like it. To specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup.

Make sure you check out What is an article? because it looks like a few of the State parks in AZ you've listed might not pass the "Can you sleep there?" test. If there are no hotels, campgrounds, hostels, etc., that information goes in the closest city. For example, Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park would go in the Yuma article.

I'm excited that the Arizona article is getting some work - I'm taking a road trip this summer and will be spending a few days there.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. Once again, Welcome!-- (WT-en) Fastestdogever 20:34, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

Hey Fastestdogever, thanks for the welcome. I appreciate all of the links and I have looked through a lot of those policies, guidelines and how to pages...but as you know, there is a lot of info, so I will do my best for a rookie.
Thanks for the info about the state parks. Feel free to adjust any of my postings.
I agree, we are excited to add any info we can to the Arizona page. Wikivoyage is a great resource for travelers and we want to make sure they have as much info as possible.
Thanks!

I'll second Stacy's welcome (and also remarks about the state parks -- some redirects possibly coming), and would like to add that your opinions on the restructuring of the Arizona regional hierarchy would be most welcome. I live one state east of you, had a kid in college at ASU recently, and believe myself to know enough about Arizona to have an informed opinion of how things might look. However, your position is better yet, from the standpoint of informed opinions, so let's hear 'em! -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 10:48, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

Thanks Bill, I appreciate that. Glad to have a bunch of people so informed on Arizona working on the page. The region question is certainly the big one right now, hopefully between all of us we can figure out the best way to list them. And like I told Stacy, please feel free to send me your advice and make changes to the page...I have been lucky enough to have traveled a lot of the state, but there are always more places to learn about.
