Welcome[edit]

Hello Darrelljon!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Your contributions to Project:List of related projects are interesting. However without a description they just look like an external link to another website. Perhaps you would like to explain the purpose of :

As these links stand they are just noise and will probably be removed. -- (WT-en) Huttite 04:32, 15 Dec 2005 (EST)

  • I have removed the link to
    Liverpool One plan
on Liverpool. The link does not display a photo on the page, probably because it is an .svg file and not a .png or .jpg file. Also there is no copyright info for the file and it looks too detailed to show clearly on this page. Instead I have added a link to the Liverpool One official website which has a good plan of the area and other useful information. Hope this is OK. (WT-en) Chris1515 09:57, 1 December 2009 (EST)

London hotels[edit]

Regarding this edit, hotels, restaurants and bars are always placed into the smallest geographical unit possible, so for London they go in the appropriate London#Districts article. The rationale is that if we tried to list every hotel or restaurant in the main article we would have a list of hundreds of businesses, something that isn't particularly useful to travelers. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:39, 21 June 2010 (EDT)

Hi! Ryan kindly switched the discussion to Talk:London#London_Hotels. (WT-en) jan 08:40, 9 July 2010 (EDT)
