Hello Ewlyahoocom!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thank you for contributing to Sabah and Pattaya (good listings) as well as joining in the discussion.

The article about Poring Hot Spring probably doesn't fit our Project:What is an article? guideline as we prefer not to write about single attractions, unless there is lots to write about them. Please contribute a lot more to this article, if you can.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with the New Zealand Customs Service, they are quite zealous sometimes (and make reality TV programmes about being so too!). Unfortunately, your personal observation is not the general traveler experience and so it is not really appropriate to include in the article, although the advice you give is good, but probably also more general than just one country. Also be thankful it was the Customs Service; the Biosecurity Service has no mercy and does not just rummaging through your bags but also decontaminates travelers posessions by seizing and destroying prohibited items, even little things, like apples, oranges, and processed food - then fines you $200 for the privalege, as well as delaying you for hours. -- (WT-en) Huttite 06:49, 9 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Image Policy

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to wikivoyage.

Please have a look at our image policy at Project:Image policy. We ask that uploaded images have meaningful names rather than being just IMAGE00666.JPG. In addition, we prefer to have images of places, not people. In the unlikeley event that a photo of a person is useful, a model release is required. See the image policy for details. -- (WT-en) Colin 15:28, 20 May 2005 (EDT)
