I sincerely hope you are not so dumb as to think that using a user name hides your IP Address from us. Desist. Ultimately, we care more about Wikivoyage then you care about your vandalism; therefore you will inevitably lose you foolish attempts at vandalism. And we really do mean it about contacting your ISP -- we have done it many times before. -- (WT-en) Colin 19:26, 4 Mar 2005 (EST)

Gay Suggestions[edit]

You are obviously a friend of gay people who admits this publically. As such this makes you a candidate for never being permitted to use a wiki again. I suggest you read Friends of gays should not be allowed to edit articles.

Your suggestion (or is it a lucky guess) that I am gay is in many respects true! I am a happy person and enjoy life, being bright and cherry. Does this show through so much in my contributions?

However, please be careful in your english usage, though. The word gay has other suggestions as to sexual orientation and could be misinterpreted by americans inappropriately. Since I am a New Zealander, this is not a problem, as the word Gay in terms of homosexuality is seen as an americanism, not a New Zealandic term. The correct New Zealand term is GLBTI, which is far more inclusive.

Please also be aware I come from a country where our top leaders are women, several cabinet ministers of various sexes are openly homosexual and one of our members of Parliament is transgender. We see this as entirely normal and the sexual orientation of the participants has almost nothing to do with whatever activity they are participating in. Also, the Police force has an inclusiveness programme for liasing with the GBTLI community (and seeks to have these people in the force too). While our biggist problem today is a bunch of supposedly christian biggots who oppose civil unions between two people of any gender. In general, New Zealanders see nothing wrong with gay people, so I cannot understand why making these suggestions seem to delight you so.

You shold also note that the word buggar is deemed perfectly acceptable expletive for use on New Zealand television and is also considered a term of endearment amongst friends. It is also used to comment on stupid behaviour - as in being a silly buggar. Sorry to disappoint you but you have just stepped into a cultural abyss and received disconnect tone.

Perhaps it says something about the sexual orientation you are repressing... It is well known for men that participate in homosexual sexual acts to deny they themselves are homosexual, despite the conflicting evidence. -- (WT-en) Huttite 18:17, 5 Mar 2005 (EST)
