Hello JensANDMarian!

Welcome to Wikivoyage.

Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Hi there. I've fixed the Munster link at your request.... Munster was linking through to the province of Ireland (already created), so I simply created a disambiguation link that led to "Munster_(city)"..... (WT-en) Pjamescowie 11:43, 20 Sep 2004 (EDT)

KNP Map

[edit]

Hi, you uploaded Image:KNP Map.JPG. As you know, we have to be very careful when reproducing other people's work here, so I just have to ask.... Where exactly did this map come from and how did you obtain the permission to reproduce it here? I was unable to find the map at and the content there requires permission. Thanks! -- (WT-en) Colin 15:36, 7 Oct 2004 (EDT)

My duh. You wrote it down in the talk page. I'll write some stuff there shortly. -- (WT-en) Colin 15:38, 7 Oct 2004 (EDT)

I am looking forward to see your contribution to the KNP. (WT-en) Jens 10:00, 7 Oct 2004 (EDT)

Formating multiple picture

  • I am trying to get several pictures nicely organized onto the Kruger National Park article, but it seems I need to know more about html to tackle that one. Any suggestions are appreciated. Kruger National Park (WT-en) Jens 08 Oct 2004

Your KNP photos

Hi,

first of all thanks for the work on the African flora and fauna article and other projects. I noticed that you have mistaken the Impala for an Springbok. I therefore changed the info on some pictures and articles. Please help me with finding all articles that need correction.

Impala are actually very easy to distinguish from Springbok. They are bigger, much browner and live in bigger herds (as you might know from the Kruger). Springbok on the other side prefer more arid habitats. So as a general rule you can say: "If its a very dry or desert location, it must be Springbok, but if their are are many trees and plants and big herds of it, it must be Impala."

I also wanted to clear the Kruger National Park article a bit. I believe it is not really neccessary to have all the different animal species there in detail. I think a short list with some striking features of each animal and maybe where it can be seen should be enough, as there is the flora and fauan article.

Cheers,

(WV-en) Felix
