User talk:(WT-en) Maveric149
Mav: thanks for stopping in. I'd love to get your take on the Project:Welcome, Wikipedians page as well as other stuff. We kinda got broadsided -- we really didn't expect to see so many people around, and now we're running to keep up. Any advice appreciated, and just happy to see a familiar face around. - It looks good - very clear and to the point. --(WT-en) Maveric149 01:47, 6 Aug 2003 (PDT)
Hi Mav! Good to see you here... think that Evan forgot the basic principle of wikis? - If you link it, they will come! :P Re your note, of course I still need a wikifix... I got out of the habit while I was away travelling (no computer for three whole months!) This sounds easier than working on the wiktionary and hunting up obscure grammar and spelling points when I'm dyslexic... :) (WT-en) KJ
Licensing
[edit]Wouldn't it be confusing to users if two WikiMedia projects used different licenses, and users were not free to copy stuff between them? We've already observed similar issues with folks copying from Wikipedia into Wikivoyage and not understanding that they can't do that. Oh, and btw, Evan's on honeymoon (see User:(WT-en) Evan) but he's still dropping by occasionally. -- (WT-en) Colin 20:21, 13 Dec 2004 (EST)

Images
[edit]Thanks for dual-licensing your images. I keep meaning to use more of them since your images tend to be of areas of California I'm interested in.
Would you like me to generate a list or gallery of used images for you just to let you know where to find them here? Currently, they're at Beatty and Mount Shasta. -- (WT-en) Colin 11:32, 22 Aug 2005 (EDT)
