Mikito. Excellent work on Washington (D.C.). I've done a little work there too. Keep it up.

I'm not sure about having a separate article for Mount Vernon though. It perhaps should be part of an article for a larger area - Fairfax or Fairfax County maybe?

Nurg, thanks for the compliment and for the signature tip. The main reason why I started the Mount Vernon article is that it was listed as a "wanted article". I do agree that it probably doesn't merit an entire article, at least at this point. Honestly, I would rather spend my time adding to the Washington (D.C.) content for now.

Incidentally, George Washington's Mount Vernon isn't the only Mount Vernon. There are at least two others, in NY and IA.

National Parks

Hi, apologies if I conflicted with any of the work you were doing on the Petrified Forest National Park -- I noticed the other night that it was empty and started filling in sections, but am more than happy to leave the rest to you if you're busy with it!

As to problems staying logged in, anytime you "watch" a page that wasn't previously on your watchlist (via the "Watch" button in the toolbar of the "Watch this page" checkbox during edits) a bug will cause you to log out. Additionally, if you don't check the "Remember me across sessions" (or whatever it says) checkbox after logging in, then you'll be logged out every time you close your browser.

I have no problem with you filling in details with the Petrified Forest National Park article or any other articles--if I were that possessive of my writing, I wouldn't submit it to Wikivoyage! :)

Thanks for the tip about the watchlist bug. I was doing something like that earlier just before editing my user page. Right after that I realized that I had better login again to avoid having my page reverted by a well-intentioned admin.

I really should be the one thanking you for filling in things like lodging and eating facilities. I know that they're important things to include, but I just enjoy writing the non-practical parts of the articles more. Thanks again! -- (WT-en) Mikito 20:03, 21 Jun 2005 (EDT)
