Welcome[edit]

Hello Nickj!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. Thanks for plunging forward so far. If you're going to continue working on Wikivoyage, you may find the tips for new contributors helpful. You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help and Project:Jargon, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article.

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do with your user page, but since it seemed to be in an endless redirect I've blanked it for now. If you have any questions feel free to discuss in the Project:Travelers' pub or on my talk page. Welcome! -- (WT-en) Ryan 22:06, 28 March 2006 (EST)

User pages[edit]

You're pretty much welcome to do whatever you want on a user page - the Project:External links policy only applies to articles, although should spammers start abusing that I'm sure we'd make a change. As to Wikipedia links, see Project:Links to Wikipedia. You can either do a [[WikiPedia:User:Nickj]], which would make a link appear in the left nav, or do a [[:WikiPedia:User:Nickj]], which makes a link appear on the screen. Or do both, we're all good about that stuff. Again, welcome! -- (WT-en) Ryan 23:29, 28 March 2006 (EST)
