Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. Please be aware that WikiTravel is different from WikiPedia. Some things are acceptable here that are not tolerated on Wikipedia and vice versa.

Please have a look at Project:Copyright details, it would appear the images you uploaded may be copyright violations. Wikivoyage prefers to use images that are the submitter's own work. Simply claiming fair use of images is not acceptable for Wikivoyage because of the downstream potential use of those images. In questionable situations images will be deleted.

Please also have a look at our Project:Goals and non-goals. WikiTravel will contain commercial links and adverts (it must because of its goals). While these links may appear commercial, that is entirely the point. We also have a set layout for articles. Consequently, some of your changes to Ann Arbor are inappropriate, although your comment

is entirely justified and implicit in every WikiTravel page. One of the missions of contributors it to give travelers some idea of how good the places mentioned in WikiTravel really are.

I have to agree with Huttite. If you don't like what's said in an article, please, plunge forward and delete it. Really! Just rip it right out. If you can, replace it with something better, but if you don't have time, and you think the information is worthless, please just get rid of it. --(WT-en) Evan 14:23, 10 Oct 2004 (EDT)

Images and copyright

I am not objecting to the licencing of the images, just the fact that the licence to copy was not stated or indicated anywhere. Because some people can be upset by their copyrighted images being stolen the right to copy needs to be explicitly stated for WikiTravel images.
