Welcome to Wikivoyage, and thanks for contributing. I assume you're the same person who's been creating and editing articles about Peru; logging in with your account will make it much easier to communicate. :) Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit more pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

One policy I want to point out is that we link only to official web sites for the hotels, restaurants, and other places we list. We don't links to blogs (like on Xanga) or other guides. That's because we want to have all the information a traveler needs here, in Wikivoyage itself. Hello and Welcome TrujilloPeru! I just wanted to say nice start on adding information to Peru guides. Now that you have a user account, you may want to read-up on the policies and guidelines mentioned above and then consider becoming a Project:Docent for some of the destinations you may know well. I hope you don't mind if I go over some of your edits and bring things in line with our Manual of style. We like to keep things consistant to be useful to travellers. Do we write at the top or bottom here? We are recommended in the best international guidebooks, have run several weblogs for several years & won a prize for ElBrujoPeru, which contains far more correct & current information (& less typos & grammatical errors) than sites like that of Inkanatura.

We're certainly glad to have you contributing your expertise to Wikivoyage. Our policy against linking to blogs or other guides has nothing to do with the quality of the information on them, but a need to draw a line somewhere, to prevent Wikivoyage articles from being filled with link after link to online guides, rather than being filled with actual information.
