Where are you getting this information? All major international networks are still reporting Thailand is under martial law and Thaksin's declaration of state of emergency, which seems to hold absolutely no water. I feel like reverting your edits again, because even though a curfew does not seem to be in effect yelling "Down with Sondhi Boonyaratkalin" is likely to get someone shot or detained. -- (WT-en) Sapphire 23:20, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

Spam vs. external links policy[edit]

I've reverted the addition of inozo.com to the spam list - a tour operator for Canada is probably a violation of Project:External links, but it's not spam. As far as I can see there hasn't been any effort made to educate this user about our external links policy, and they have not been incessantly adding links.

Also, it would be helpful if you could at least give some reason why you don't want to create a login. It's fine if you don't, but ignoring people asking you to do so is frustrating, and without a login it's extremely difficult to know who we're dealing with when we see lots of anonymous edits or comments. -- (WT-en) Ryan 16:16, 22 September 2006 (EDT)

Changing page name and moving text[edit]

Hi, Thank you for all your contributions. I just wanted to let you know the best way to change the page name is to do a "Move" (tab at the top) in lieu of copying text to a new page. That way the talk page can be moved at the same time and all the history is moved also. Another advantage, is the previous page is automagicly set as a redirect to the new page. thanks! -- (WT-en) Tom Holland (xltel) 09:45, 26 September 2006 (EDT)

I'm pretty sure unregistered users can't move pages. Friendly anonymous helper: setting up a pseudonymous user account would give you access to a few more functions (image upload, page moving, some other stuff I can't recall). Especially for page moving, that's a big help, since copy-and-paste loses the history of a page and thus the authorship credits. --(WT-en) Evan 09:51, 26 September 2006 (EDT)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
