About my village MATUR

where can I start........

Buktinggi is a fantastic cultural city in Sumartra which has many amazing sights to see. There is a village where I come from (its called ampuah) which is towards the mountains of Bukitinggi, 40 minutes away from Lake Maninjou. Here you can hire a bike and go all around the lake and witness the amazing views and houses where the local people fish and swim. You can swim in the lake which is cooling and refreshing! If that doesn't suit you then be amazed by the surrounding rice fields and local people who always welcome you with a bright friendly smile. The hightlight of the trip to the village which is unique in itself. The village has two markets which run on different days (one is smaller then the other) although both are still interesting in itself. They variety of food, clothes and vast array of everything you can think of is amazing as all locals are buying the freshest and cheapest products they can find. The markets aren't displayed for tourists so become a local or get left behind in the hustle and bustle of the local environment.

The road to the village is jaw dropping from rivers, local houses, rice fields, crazy motorists to welcoming locals and jaw dropping views. If your lucky enough you will get a chance to plants the rice seeds with his neighbours or even cut them down for harvesting depending which season you arrive. Anyway when you need more information please contact me on +6281267371000. Thank you
