Hello, 凡人丶! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

I noticed you had removed two districts from the Beijing article for the second time (User:Ikan Kekek apparently reverted a similar edit of yours already). Even if those districts do not administratively exist any more, the sights, restaurants, hotels etc. that are located in the areas do still exist, right? Even if the name or extent of a district or region officially changes, it is usually best to keep the points of interest in the original Wikivoyage article with the original name.

Therefore, I’ll need to revert your edit.

Ps. Ikan and others, especially if the user performing such changes is a newbie and hasn’t been welcomed yet (talk page redlinked) I think it’d be advisable to notify them on their talk page to make sure they really receive the message. New users likely don't know about article talk pages, edit summaries, edit histories etc. ϒpsilon (talk) 19:09, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
