Wadi al-Dawasir is a city and governorate in the south of Nejd. It is described as a gateway to the Empty Quarter.

• 1 Wadi Ad Dawasir Domestic Airport. Small airport with a daily flight from Riyadh and three flights a week from Jeddah, both services operated by the national carrier Saudia. (updated Jul 2024)

By bus

There are frequent buses operated by Saptco from Riyadh (7 daily departures, travel time about 8h) and Abha (3 daily departures, travel time about 5-6h).

By car

Wadi al-Dawasir is on Highway 10 between Riyadh and Abha.
