  • Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Celebrate the humble cabbage with traditional sauerkraut dishes and crazy concoctions such as sauerkraut ice cream! With more than 400 selected craft vendors, music, and entertainment, this annual festival (October) is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in America.
  • The Old Main Street Antiques Show. Usually occurring once in the Spring and once in the Fall, this event features dozens of shops offering everything from antiques to hand-made gifts, from furniture to fine art. The Old Main Street Antiques Show is a great treasure-hunting experience. You can browse antique offerings from 40 visiting dealers amidst the throng of local dealers.

It is in the historic Stetson House, named for its resident Louisa Stetson Larrick. She was the sister of John Stetson and gave him the money to start his cowboy hat business. It is also noted for being according to local lore the second most haunted building in Waynesville after the Hammel House Inn and is on the ghost tour. The shop is named for one of the owners' dogs, who was adopted at SICSA.
