Signature and time date stamp[edit]

Just in case anyone ever wondered why I always add ~~~~ after the article names that need images. I do this to give an indication of the date that it was discovered that the article was without an image. (WT-en) Sapphire 18:36, 6 April 2006 (EDT)

I'm going through the list to see where I might have images. Should Cologne really be on the list? There's already a (nice) image there. -- (WT-en) Jonboy 15:50, 21 April 2006 (EDT)

The reason I put that up there is because to become a star it suggest an article have a few illustrations that illustrate the destination, its culture, and atmosphere. A nice frontal or inside view of the Koelner Dom (Cathedeal), or the Koelsch brewery (next door) would be nice. Or better yet how about that huge pedestrian street not far from the pedestrian street in front cathedral (To get there walk out of the cathedral and turn left. You can't miss it) (WT-en) Sapphire 15:59, 21 April 2006 (EDT)
Makes sense. How do any of the pictures on this page [1] grab you for the Cathedral? If you think they're reasonable (and you certainly won't offend me if you don't), I'll upload a higher-res version from home. There's a brewery next door? I should read these articles more closely before I leave home! -- (WT-en) Jonboy 16:06, 21 April 2006 (EDT)
I like the one under this sentence: "I sat outside the Cathedral and enjoyed some falafel before going in." Isn't it incredibly hard to capture the cathedral on film? I hated trying to find a suitable location to photograph the Cathedral. The brewery next door is home to the local speciality Kölsch [2]. It's located across the plaza from the Dom and adjacent to the Roman-German Museum. (WT-en) Sapphire 16:26, 21 April 2006 (EDT)

Mexico and Cuba in South America?[edit]

Mexico is located in "North America" while Cuba is located in "Central America and the Caribbean".

Ashikaga now has photos[edit]

The Ashikaga article has lots of photos now. Should it be removed from the list of articles needing photos? (WT-en) Azolotkov 21:42, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

Redirect[edit]

At this point in Wikivoyage's development this page is fairly useless - I'd suggest redirecting it to wts:Project:Requests for images. Comments? -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 01:41, 1 May 2012 (EDT)

Agreed and done. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 15:21, 6 May 2012 (EDT)
