Keighley (pronounced "keeth-lee") is a town in the English county of West Yorkshire, north west of Bradford in the Aire Valley.

By train[edit]

1 Keighley station is on the Aire Valley railway line, with trains every 30 min east via Shipley to Leeds and Bradford, and west to Skipton. Less frequent trains continue west through the moors to Carnforth, Lancaster, Morecambe, Appleby and Carlisle.

  • 3 Keighley Bus Museum, 5 River Technology Park BD21 4JP, +44 7465 897497. occasional open days and may be open at weekends. Volunteer run museum with buses from 1924-2000 and a few other vehicles.

  • Rugby: Keighley Cougars were relegated in 2023, so they now play rugby league (13-a-side) in League One, the third tier; the playing season is Feb-Sept. Their home ground Cougar Park (capacity 7800) is along A650 half a mile north of the railway station.
