Muhos is a town and municipality in the Western Oulu region, at the confluence of Muhos River into the Oulu River.

[edit]Trains on the Oulu-Kajaani line stop in Muhos. Some trains come as far as from Helsinki.
By car
[edit]Highway 22 between Oulu and Kajaani passes through town. If you're coming from the south along Highway 4, take regional road 827 via Tyrnävä.
By bus
[edit]There are buses from Oulu (also city buses), Vaala, Utajärvi and Kajaani.

[edit]- 1 Muhos church, Kirkkotie 3. Wooden church with a quite "slim" tower. It was finished in 1634 and is the third oldest wooden church in Finland.
