Pershore Abbey

Pershore is a market town in Worcestershire. The town is best known for Pershore Abbey.

Pershore is 6 miles (10 km) west of Evesham and 6 miles (10 km) east of Upton-upon-Severn in the Vale of Evesham.

By bus[edit]

The First X50 bus goes from Worcester to Evesham via Pershore each hour from 6:40AM to 6:25PM.

By train[edit]

1 Pershore railway station is on the Cotswold line which goes from Hereford to Oxford.

  • 2 Croome Court. Neo-palladian mansion that belonged to the 6th Earl of Coventry. The National Trust operates the house and the surrounding parkland.The 670 acres (270 hectares) parkland was designed by Capability Brown in 1751, and includes a collection of buildings including some designed by Brown and two by Robert Adam.   • Blossom Trail. The Vale of Evesham, to the south, is home to many orchards, which give their name to the 40-mile AA sign posted walking, cycling and driving route (also visiting Broadway and Evesham) that runs close to the town. Between March and May, cherry, pear and apple blossom can be often seen.
