Tamura (田村市 Tamura-shi) is a city in the Fukushima Prefecture, in Honshu, Japan. Tamura was founded in 2005 as a result of a merger of several smaller towns and villages. Funehiki, Miyakoji, Ogoe, Takine, and Tokiwa all now exist as Tamura city. Tamura's sister city is Mansfield, Ohio.

[edit]- 1 Abukuma-do Caves (あぶくま洞). A set of interconnected limestone caves. The popular, family-friendly tourist attraction remains relatively unknown to non-Japanese, despite being the largest in the Tohoku region.
