Tolú is a small town in Costa Norte region of Colombia by the Caribbean sea. It is a rather gritty and impoverished town with a murky beach, but the coastline both north (El Francés) and southwards (Coveñas) from town is much more pleasant. Tolú also serves as the natural gateway to the gorgeous Islas de San Bernardo.
