Gurzuf and Ayu-Dag mountain

Gurzuf (Russian: Гурзуф, Crimean Tatar: Gurzuf) is a resort town in Crimea. Its small size and Ottoman flavour make it distinct from nearby Yalta.

Ayu-Dag (Crimean Tatar: Ayuv Dağ Russian: Аю-Даг, Медведь-гора, Ukrainian: Аю-Даг means "Bear Mountain" in all three languages) is a nearby coastal peak and nature reserve. Its 572 m summit can be scaled from the Artek childrens' camp which lies at its base. Take minibus number 2 to Artek and find the trail up from there.
