Schloss Vollrads

Oestrich-Winkel is in the Rheingau, Southern Hesse in Germany. It is a community consisting of the villages Winkel, Oestrich, Mittelheim and Hallgarten. The village has a population of about 11.400.

The Rheinsteig walking trail passes through Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Kiedrich, Kloster Eberbach near Eltville, Schloss Vollrads near Oestrich-Winkel, Monstera Marienthal near Geisenheim and Niederwalddenkmal near Rüdesheim.

• 1 Schloss Vollrads. 13th century founded manor house and wine estate famous for its Riesling. The inner courtyard is open and free to walk around but not the interior. On weekends and holidays a wine stand is available to sample the produce. (updated Dec 2015)
