Saschiz is a village in Mureș County. It is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Saschiz is on the mainroad E60 that links Brașov to Sighișoara. It is about 20 km from Sighișoara and 100 km from Brașov.

  • 2 The peasant fortress ruins (Cetatea țărănească) (up the hill). These ruins used to be a fortress, today they are left to fall apart. However there is still left a lot.
