Get around
See
- 1 Rabindra Bhavan. M-Sa 8AM – 5PM. The main attraction of Mangpoo, a Tagore museum. In the past, when the road from 'Sixth-and-a-half Mile' to Mangpoo was muddy, Tagore was carried in a man-bearing palanquin. That palanquin was laid idle when, later, a better road was built; still, you will see that very palanquin in Rbindra Bhavan museum. Beside other things, many facsimile copy of Tagore manuscripts, paintings, his writing table, even coloured pots are preserved for the exhibition.
