Appearance
Borris is a village of 1,500 people in southern County Carlow. Nestled under Mount Leinster, the village is one of the many towns and villages in the county that is situated along the River Barrow. One of the most noteworthy features of the village is the 16 arch viaduct, built in the 1800s to carry a now-defunct local railway.
