• 1 Bellapais Abbey. A ruined 13th century Gothic monastery. The site is also a museum, which hosts a restaurant and a cafe. The Abbey's refectory now serves as a venue for concerts and lectures. In early summer it is also a venue for a local music festival. 15 TL. (updated Mar 2020)

Eat

There are several restaurants and bars near the ruins. A little bit more expensive than smaller restaurants down in the villages, but it can't be missed. After your meal, you can walk through the grounds admiring the scenery of the monastery. Go at sunset for a breathtaking view!
